A Gentle Giant: Myrtle Stewart's Poetry and Memoirs

This is more than a book of poems written by Willie Myrtle Stewart. It is a life history of a journey taken by an African-American woman who spent 99 years on this planet. The lyrics and memoirs are a window of that journey.
 
This publication is dedicated to the descendants of the Edwards and Craig family clans. Their African-American roots can be traced back to the early 1800s in American history. A reflection on one's ancestral thoughts and roots, from whence they came, will serve as a guiding light and inspiration to a generation's future.
